OE Replacement Brake Hoses - Znoelli
replacement brake hoses are manufactured to the highest standards. Znoelli
brake hoses are tested utilising SAE J1401 and FMVSS106 specified procedures
including pressure hold, pressure burst (to destruction), constriction
and whip tests.
When replacing safety
critical items on your vehicle, Znoelli brake hoses provide peace of mind
motoring with guaranteed quality.
Why do Brake Hoses
wear out? - Like most other components on your vehicle, age and use
deteriorate brake hoses. Rubber, over time, perishes and cracks. Brake
hoses get punished every day by road grime, water, stones and heat from
the braking system. This is just on the outside. On the inside brake hoses
are constantly subjected to high pressures from the application of the
vehicles brakes and of course the hose is designed for this purpose. However
after a period of time a brake hoses fabric re-inforcing starts to stretch
and combined with rubber fatigue results in a poor performing hose, or
worse, one that could potentially fail.
How do I know if my
Brake Hoses are worn? - Brake hoses are checked for outward signs
of wear and damage during your W.O.F., however this doesn't necessarily
indicate the full story. Brake hoses can appear fine on the outside and
still be performing poorly. As brake hoses wear gradually it is likely
that the vehicle user won't notice this slow degredation and all will
seem normal. It's not until the brake hoses are replaced that it becomes
apparent that all was not normal.
How long do brake hoses
generally last and is there a recommended replacement interval? - Brake
hoses will wear according to many factors, however it is in our opinion
that brake hoses deteriorate sufficiently over a six year period to warrant
their replacement. If your vehicle is over five years old then it's time
to replace the brake hoses.
